 A myo-electric prosthesis allowed this patient the ability to have active grasp.
The Dermatos® skin surface has superior grip. This allows users excellent grasping capabilities not found in other skins.

Unlike other skin covers, Dermatos® skin covers will never split at the finger tips.

Many Dermatos® clients require a griefer (shown on right) to perform jobs that a hand shaped prosthesis can not do.

This patient is able to remove the Dermatos® myo-electric hand and attach the griefer unit.

The griefer unit can have up to 60 pounds of pressure in pinch force. The mechanical design of the unit also allows the wearer to perform tasks that require a high degree of accuracy- such as removing a nut from a bolt.
